My first photogrammetry asset! I started this project a bit before our portfolio where I made the shoe, it was kind of hard to figure out how to scan something properly with just a ringlight and camera. Learning how to cleanup meshes and change them without destroying all the details in the process was also tricky but very fun! Making the mannequin for the scanning process was also very fun.
I made the actual crampons for the shoes later on where I mostly relied on hardsurface modeling in Blender which I later tweaked in Zbrush to get that old worn metal feel.
This piece is a part of a larger project where you can check out here!: https://sejlajahic.artstation.com/projects/K3LNg9?album_id=14295303
I want to thank my classmates, my educators and my mentor Kim Kristiansson Stenberg for all the help and support on this piece! (Also my Dad for letting me borrow his shoes.)
I am part of The Game Assembly’s internship program. Any internship offers can be made on May 5th, at the earliest.
A timelapse of the cleanup for the shoe itself.
